When you file your ITR, you might have to get a tax refund if you paid extra taxes. To receive this refund, you need to provide correct bank details. Also, if you have to pay any taxes, the correct bank details will help you do it online smoothly.

How to Correct Bank Details

Log In to the PortalGo to the Income Tax Department's official website and log in using your User ID (usually your PAN card number) and password.
Go to Profile SettingsOnce you're logged in, look for the "Profile Settings" option. It's usually on the top right corner of the portal.
Click on 'Bank Account Details'In the Profile Settings, you will find an option called "Bank Account Details." Click on it.
