The term ‘like and earn’ fraud typically refers to a scam where individuals are promised rewards in the form of money or other benefits. To get it, people have to like, share or comment on their social media platforms. Haqueqat mein, yeh accounts hote hi nahi hai.
Here’s how the ‘like and earn’ fraud typically works:
Tempting offers: Yeh fraud karne waale create posts or advertisements promising financial rewards, gift cards, or other incentives for liking, sharing, or commenting on their content. They declare ki jab a certain number of likes or shares ho jaayega, tab aapko woh nakadh denge, or they will give you entry into a prize draw.
Engagement manipulation
Victims are asked to like, share and/or comment on their social media platforms. This is all fake because their accounts are fake, but because of these activities, these accounts appear to be big and popular. Iss liye log unke jhaase mein aa jate hai.
Taking your personal information
As part of the scam, victims are often asked to provide personal information, such as their email address, phone number, or even financial details like bank account specifics. Woh aapko jhut bolenge ki unhe aapke personal information iss liye chahiye kyuki woh aapko cash rewards bhejna chahete hai.
Exploitation and fraud
